Craig Johnson

Craig Johnson is a distinguished financial industry leader with a remarkable track record spanning decades in asset management and financial services. At Omega Venture Partners, Craig leverages his extensive experience to drive strategic growth and investment success.

Before joining Omega, Craig served as President of JMP Group (a subsidiary of Citizens Financial Group), where he was integral to the firm’s Executive Committee and Chairman of Harvest Capital Strategies. His leadership at JMP Group was instrumental to the firm’s growth and successful acquisition by Citizens Financial Group. Prior to JMP, Craig spent twenty years at Montgomery Securities and its successor, Banc of America Securities, as Director of Global Institutional Sales and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.  Craig is also a partner of GSW Sports LLC, owner of the National Basketball Association’s Golden State Warriors.

Craig holds a BA in Economics from Stanford University.
